Our Story
In the year 1998, Swati Panwar ( Foods & Nutrition ) and Dr. Y.S. Panwar ( Food and Technology ) from G.B. Pant University , Pantnagar , set up a small scale unit of spices under the name 'UTKARSH FOOD PRODUCTS' and launched 'HOME FRESH' brand spices. The objective was to provide pure spices to the consumers which can substitute their need of traditional home made spices.
Initially products were limited to few variety of spices namely Haldi powder,Mirch kuti, Dhania powder and Garam masala. As the demand in the market grew, spice mixes and whole spices were introduced.
With the time, automatic machines were introduced to enhance productivity and quality. In 2013 company started producing Besan under the brand name 'HOME STAR'

We believe in delivering products with quality and hygiene at most economic price. Our raw material is procured from the most authentic sources to give the best aroma , taste and color to your dish every time you cook !
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Being a women entrepreneur herself Mrs. Swati Panwar, Owner of Utkarsh food Products is highly admitted towards women empowerment and promoting females from the village to develop skills and provide opportunities for work in the manufacturing facility. Much of our manpower is from women from rural areas.

We are always loyal to our motto of Serving Products with purity , quality and hygiene. To always align with our motto we follow strict manufacturing facilities with minimal human interference with food material, Using food grade steel machinery. Pest control and both manual and Machine inspection and Cleaning of Raw materials before they are processed.
Every Machine is thoroughly inspected before its operation and raw material is multiple time inspected from its procurement from best in class suppliers to final stage of grinding , We do various inspections and quality & Adulteration tests.
